Fudgy Chocolate Banana Bars
These six ingredient, fudgy chocolate bars are a one bowl wonder! The beautiful thing is you likely have all of the ingredients hanging out in your kitchen. They will honor ANY chocolate craving and are the best fudgy texture. 0 added sugar in these babies. They’re perfect to stash in the freezer for the time you need a few bites of chocolate goodness. They will be definitely be on repeat for me this summer!
no added sugar, gluten free, dairy free, soy free
Yield: 12-16 bars
Ingredients
3 medium overripe bananas
1.5 cups oats (certified gluten free for allergy)
1/2 cup unsweetened peanut butter, or any nut butter
1/4 unsweetened nut milk
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup cacao powder
splash of vanilla extract
1/3 cup dark chocolate chips, I use an unsweetened brand to keep added sugar free
optional topping: flakey sea salt
Directions
preheat oven to 350 F
blend everything except chocolate chips and flakey sea salt in a blender. blend until everything is fully blended together. mix chocolate chips into the blender and mix using a spatula (don’t blend again!)
line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper. pour batter into dish and sprinkle with flakey sea salt, if desired
bake for 20-24 minutes and let cool. when cool, remove from the baking dish with the parchment paper and cut into 12 or 16 bars. store in the fridge, or freezer to enjoy later on
