Hi, welcome!

Thanks so much for checking out my page, Health by Christina! My name is Christina and I've had a passion for health and nutrition for as long as I can remember.  My passion led me to study dietetics as an undergrad at the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!)  From there I became a Registered Dietitian and secretly a huge {healthy} foodie at heart.

I created this blog to empower people to not only live and eat healthy, but also to better understand the importance of what we put into our bodies.  I'm excited to share recipes with you that I hope will not only make eating healthy taste good, but also easy to fit into your lifestyle! My hope is to provide you with recipes and simple ways to eat clean. 

I am a firm believer in food as medicine and feel that if we treat our bodies right from the inside out; we can live the healthiest versions of ourselves.  My page focuses on real, whole foods that are minimally processed and low in added sugar.  You will find all my recipes to be dairy free, most gluten free, and many that are paleo. These recipes require minimal prep work, minimal ingredients, and basic cooking skills. 

I made the decision to go dairy free over five years ago, for reasons I'll share at a later date. Most of the recipes shared can be modified and adapted to fit your preferences and dietary restrictions.  I hope this page allows you to branch out of your comfort zone and find even the smallest love for the food you eat.  Please feel free to comment on any of my recipes with modifications you try to help inspire others as well as myself!
